Sedation Dentistry – Kirkland, WA

Technology, We are strong supporters.

Technology is an important pillar in our practice. Our fully digital equipment allows us to diagnose with accuracy and plan the most appropriate and often conservative treatment.

Is a digital X-ray really safer?

Yes! We committed to risk reduction and reducing the amount of radiation exposure. Dental X-rays, in general, emit a minute amount of radiation but the effect of radiation builds up over time which means that all radiation counts. Digital X-rays decrease the patient’s exposure to radiation by up to 80%.

What are the advantages of digital X-rays?

  • The images can be viewed instantly, reducing the duration of the visit!
  • The digital nature of the images means they can be enlarged and manipulated to suit the needs of the doctor when diagnosing and determining a treatment plan.
  • The child can also view an enlarged version of their teeth, allowing them to develop a better understanding of their teeth and the importance of caring for them.
  • Environmentally friendly! Digital x-rays eliminate the need for harmful film processing chemicals.

We are fully committed to making your child as comfortable as possible during their dental experience. If you have questions, please ask us, we love to build smiles together.
